Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers Operational Terms and Policies

Help you get trained in a minimum of time so you get to your new job quickly!

Attendance: If a student continues to attend and work at developing the necessary skills, Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers will support the student and work with them as long as necessary for them to pass the state examination. Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers supports its students.

To assure success, students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. Each hour planned is necessary to achieve the highest degree of learning. In cases of extreme circumstances the school director may waive the attendance policy as stated below:

Tardiness: Tardiness or leaving early shall be recorded in the student’s record and accumulated as time absent.

Absences: Cumulative absences of over 15% (3 days) or four consecutive days absent may result in dismissal from the school.

Leave of absence: Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers realizes that extenuating circumstances may arise where it would not be advantageous for the student to maintain enrollment. In such cases, the Director may grant a leave of absence. This indicates that the student sincerely intends to resume his/her training. The student who is on a leave of absence will be dropped from the school’s program if they do not re-enroll at the time agreed upon prior to the extended absence. A student will be granted only one leave.

Graduation Requirements
The candidate for the certificate must have successfully completed all specified requirements for the certificate and be free from indebtedness to Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers.

Refunds:

Michigan Refund Policy:

If an applicant student is rejected by Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers, all monies shall be refunded.
In the event a student enters training and withdraws or is dismissed prior to completion, Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain the following:
- During the first two days Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain 33% of tuition plus any fees paid on the student’s behalf.
- After two days, Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain 67% of tuition & all fees.
- After four days, Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain 100% of tuition & fees.
The last day of actual attendance by the student will be used as the withdrawal date.
Upon withdrawal, all monies due to the student will be refunded within 30 days.

Missouri Refund Policy:

The tuition is due in full upon the starting of classes or approved financial aid must be in order. The student has the right to cancel the enrollment contract at any time. The student has three (3) business days from the date of signing the enrollment agreement to cancel with a full refund being granted of all monies paid. If the student elects to do so, the following terms apply.

In the event a student enters training and withdraws or is dismissed prior to completion, Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain the following:
- During the first three (3) days Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain 33% of tuition plus any fees pain on the student’s behalf.
- During days four (4) through eight (8) Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain 66% of tuition plus any fees paid on the student’s behalf.
- After nine days, Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers shall retain 100% of tuition plus any fees paid on the student’s behalf.
The last day of actual attendance by the student will be used as the withdrawal date.
Upon withdrawal, all monies due to the student, tuition and/or fees will be refunded within thirty (30) days.
