1. How much does the truck driving program cost?
It may not cost anything in the long run! All of the companies that recruit in our classrooms offer tuition reimbursement.
2. How long does the truck driving training program last?
Generally, the truck driving program lasts 3 weeks with classes 6 days a week. Most of our students want to get to work as soon as possible and we are here to help them get there.
3. What openings are available now in Over-The-Road (OTR) Regional and Local routes?
The trucking companies that recruit in our classrooms have immediate openings for OTR and Regional jobs. If you interested in local jobs, you should be prepared to drive a regional job for 6 months to 1 year. This provides you with the truck driving experience that most companies want their truck drivers to have.
4. What job security is there?
The American Trucking Association and the U.S. Department of Labor estimate that there are over 20,000 open truck driver positions available right now! They also estimate that by the year 2011 there will be 111,000 openings for truck drivers. That’s a great deal of demand for our graduates.
5. Do you help me get a job?
Yes! Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers has the largest staff of placement professionals in Michigan and Missouri just to help get you a truck driving job. Nu-Way Truck Driver Training Centers has more recruiters visiting it’s campuses than any other truck driving school in their area.
6. What kind of money will I make?
How much you make will depend on YOU. The more you drive the more you can make. First year commercial truck drivers average $40,000. Commercial CDL Truck Drivers with more than one year’s experience can earn $60,000 or more.

The trucking companies are looking for all kinds of truck drivers. This means women, men including those looking for a second career, couples who want to truck drive together, younger people looking for a lifetime truck driving career.
